New Urban Agenda for Spatial Planning
You can find here the New Urban Agenda´s annotated version for City and Regional Planners by President Ric Stephens.
The New Urban Agenda was accepted at the Habitat 3 conference in Quito in October 2016. It is an ”action-oriented document which will set global standards of achievement in sustainable urban development, rethinking the way we build, manage, and live in cities through drawing together cooperation with committed partners, relevant stakeholders, and urban actors at all levels of government as well as the private sector.”
It ”will guide the efforts around urbanization of a wide range of actors — nation states, city and regional leaders, international development funders, United Nations programmes and civil society — for the next 20 years. Inevitably, this agenda will also lay the groundwork for policies and approaches that will extend, and impact, far into the future.” Citiscope
