The landscape of current working groups in the IFLA Professional Practice and Policy Committee is increasingly multifaceted: from Landscape Architects without Borders actions, to UIA-IFLA cooperation or Global professional practice survey results; news topics and strategies lead by our volunteers, are evolving from day to day. Since I was elected during last World Congress in Turin, different urgent tasks had to be fulfilled according to the decisions taken by our representatives there; thus my priority has been to restructure the Working Groups in order to start 2017 fresh with 7 active Groups, each with clear leadership of the appointed Chair and an agreed mission and vision to be disseminated amongst our IFLA community and beyond.

This building up of the working groups structure, aims at a better visualization of the activities in which we are engaged and opens the call to all members, friends and readers to actively participate in one of the IFLA PPP Committee working groups.

Some topics and Chairs are old friends and well-known projects BUT others are brand new with recently co-opted chairs whom we publicly welcome, like Climate Change and Young professional Advocate.
